BioNova Natural Swimming Pools
BioNova holds a US Patent on the system and method for the biological
purification of water that we design and build into our pools.
BioNova has over 20 years of experience in building natural swimming pools
in Europe. Natural swimmimg pools use plantings in a
constructed regeneration zone to purify the swimming pools water.
Impuritles in the water are nourishment for the plants, beneflcial
bacteria and microorganisms that in turn keep the water clean, clear
and safe for swimming. BioNova natural pools also employ patented
biological filters, patented skimmer designs and are chemical-free. Rin
Robyn installs highly energy efficient pumps and heating systems.
Automatic pool cleaners can be designed into the natural pool
systems, as well as underwater lighting and automatic controls.
The constructed regeneration zone of the natural pool uses the
microorganlsms, zooplankton and plants to remove the impuritles from
the water. The pool water is circulated with energy efficient pumps into
distribution chambers in the regeneration zone and a patented fine
filter removes debris prior to the water entering the regeneration
zone. The plants and the microbes compete for the nutrients that
would feed algae and the plants are rooted in a patented substrate
that is produced by BioNova. Natural pools are enhancing Mother
